Bill is a writer, editorial director, and content producer with more than 25 years of experience in strategic communications across print and digital media. He is the author of several books on the built environment and sustainability, including Against the Grain: Mass Timber in the Home (Schiffer, 2024) and Together by Design: The Art & Architecture of Communal Living (Princeton Architectural Press, 2022), with a forthcoming title, The Resilient Home (RIBA, 2027). His writing has appeared in leading industry publications such as Architectural Record, The Architect’s Newspaper, and Landscape Architecture. Bill holds a BA in the history of art from Wheaton College and a PhD in the history of art and architecture from the University of Virginia.

Pascale is a creative director and graphic designer with more than 25 years of experience shaping identity, editorial design, and strategic communications for architecture firms, cultural institutions, universities, and nonprofits. Her work spans books, journals, and branding systems, including the redesign of long-standing scholarly publications and the development of identities for organizations in transition. She previously served as Art Director at the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture and continues to lead the design of the Journal of Architectural Education and Technology | Architecture + Design. Pascale holds an MA in Communication from Johns Hopkins University and a BFA in Design Art from Concordia University.
