We helped shine a spotlight on the American Geophysical Union’s Thriving Earth Exchange program, which connects scientists with communities to tackle urgent issues like air and water pollution, food insecurity, and access to critical resources.
Our work for AGU included a video documentary series that Team Three conceived, directed, and produced, chronicling the power of community science. These projects include: Rooting for Parrish, Resilient Futures for Burlington, Vermont, Fighting for Higher Ground, Michigan, and Waiwai: The Wealth of Water.
As part of the project, we also created case studies that tell the stories of 12 Thriving Earth Exchange communities, bringing together community scientists, activists, organizations, and policy experts—from places like Antlers, Oklahoma and Barren River, Kentucky to San Ysidro and South Central Los Angeles, California.
