William Richards
Bill is a writer, editorial director, and content producer with more than 25 years of experience in strategic communications across print and digital campaigns.
Bill is the author of several books about the built environment and sustainability including Against the Grain: Mass Timber in the Home (Schiffer, 2024), Together by Design: The Art & Architecture of Communal Living (Princeton Architectural Press, 2022), Bamboo Contemporary: Green Houses Around the Globe (Princeton Architectural Press, 2022), Revolt and Reform in Architecture’s Academy (Routledge, 2017), and the forthcoming title The Resilient Home (Royal Institute of British Architects, 2027). His writing has also appeared in leading industry publications such as Architect, Architectural Record, Architectural Design, The Architect’s Newspaper, BuildingGreen, Competitions, and Landscape Architecture.
Bill holds a BA in the history of art from Wheaton College (Mass.), and a PhD in the history of art and architecture from the University of Virginia.
Pascale Vonier
Pascale is a creative director and graphic designer with more than 25 years of experience shaping brand identity, editorial design, and strategic communications for architecture firms, cultural institutions, universities, and nonprofits.
Her work spans book and journal design, executive communications, and and branding/identity. Pascale has led the redesign of long-standing scholarly journals, designed architecture and design books for internationally recognized publishers, and developed identity systems for foundations and nonprofits navigating periods of transition.
Previously, Pascale served as Art Director at the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, overseeing the creative direction of its journals, publications, and national programs. She continues to serve as Art Director of the Journal of Architectural Education and Technology | Art + Design.
Pascale holds an MA in Communication from Johns Hopkins University and a BFA in Design Art from Concordia University.
